I’m Karaleise and here I blog about business analysis and give tips for new and seasoned business analysts. I really enjoy business analysis and I find it to be a very fulfilling career. Originally I studied Computer Science Engineering at the Bachelor’s level and then I did a Masters in Project Management and Engineering – so where does business analysis come in?

Well it didn’t.

When I went to university, there wasn’t a Business Analyst career path available. Maybe that’s changed now, but at the time, I didn’t even know such a career existed. After working in tech support and then becoming an IT manager at an insurance agency,  I  uncovered this role and decided it was a better fit for me. Now I thoroughly enjoy it!

Outside of my corporate job, I am also an entrepreneur. I have been contributing to the Business Analysis space through my articles, speaking engagements, youtube videos and books. Checkout my latest book on the Business Analyst job market here.
