Use this Business Analysis Fit Test to help you determine if the business analysis career is right for you.

The test is based on the Business Analyst Fit Model below which scores behavior that is conducive to the expectation of a business analyst.

This test does not require any prior skills in business analysis, instead it analyzes your current everyday behavior to assess your fit for the field.

I don't get to close the gaps in my knowledge as much as I'd like

How are you with finding reason and purpose?

I only look for reason on things that are important to me

When decisions are made, sometimes I'll ask why

Finding a purpose behind things is interesting to me and I do it sometimes.

Sometimes try to understand the purpose behind something but its not foremost in my thoughts

I often take ambiguous chaotic environments and work towards making things more clear

I don't like ambiguity and it creates a lot of stress for me but I find ways to get clarity

How do you approach work that is not well defined?

When my tasks are not well defined, I feel a lot of overwhelm and I need someone else to make sense of it for me

Things do not have to be perfectly defined for me, I can take an unclear situation and determine where I should start to make sense of it

I often don't know where to start when the situation is chaotic but I start anyway and figure it out as I go along
