Business Analysis Fit Test

Use this Business Analysis Fit Test to help you determine if the business analysis career is right for you.

The test is based on the Business Analyst Fit Model below which scores behavior that is conducive to the expectation of a business analyst.

This test does not require any prior skills in business analysis, instead it analyzes your current everyday behavior to assess your fit for the field.

I try to understand the reason for almost everything that happens in the course of each day

I'd rather understand what something is than trying to figure out the why behind it

I spend a lot of time trying to find purpose and reason and I ask a lot of why questions

When someone gives me a shallow answer, I accept it and I don't think twice about it.

How much do you try to understand why?

I'm not satisfied when I know what was decided, I have to know why it was decided as well

I often take ambiguous chaotic environments and work towards making things more clear

I don't like ambiguity and it creates a lot of stress for me but I find ways to get clarity

I do not like unclear chaotic environments. I get very flustered and overwhelmed

What is your reaction when you are not given clear steps on how exactly to do your work?

I like my work to be well defined with clear steps. I do not want to be figuring everything that needs to be done.

If I don't have well defined steps, I will figure out what those steps should be
