One of the most devastating things a Business Analyst can experience is missing business requirements. If you are working on a mission critical project and you have missing requirements – especially if you realize late in the project – it can really be a bad experience. You can end up feeling very responsible if the project is unsuccessful because you did not identify the right requirements. For these reasons you want to make every effort to avoid missing requirements.
